Welcome to Ashkii and Bidziil's Web page. These two guys are black lab/golden retriever pups that have been growing on this planet for a couple of years now: as near as I can determine they were born September 28, 1998. They are littermates that I adopted when they were 10 days old because their mother became gravely ill. I bottle fed them for about a month before weaning them to solid food. They were daily visitors to my office at the University, especially early on when they required frequent care. I bring them only infrequently now since they have become big and hyperactive. It's almost impossible to get any work done with them around now. But they do visit school occasionally, so if you're lucky you still might catch them on a good day.
This page is very much under construction. We will have more in the future. For now, here is a picture taken in early October, 2000 in front of my house with Bidziil on the left and Ashkii on the right. (I took me about 10 minutes to get the two of them to sit still long enough to snap the picture!) Click on the picture for a larger (3x) version.
